Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. butter
    2/3 c. buttermilk
    1 1/4 c. bananas, mashed
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Blend in butter, 1/2 of the buttermilk and mashed bananas.
    Beat well for 3 minutes.
    Add eggs and remaining buttermilk; beat well again for 3 minutes.
    Stir in nuts.
    Pour into a greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Cool.
    Frost with Banana Icing.
