Shoe Peg Corn Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans French-style green beans, drained
1/2 to 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1 can Shoe Peg corn, drained
1 can cream of celery soup
1 tube Ritz crackers, crushed
1 stick butter or margarine
salt to taste
8 oz. carton sour cream
1/2 c. diced onion
1/2 c. diced bell pepper
1 pkg. sliced almonds
1/2 c. diced celery
pepper to taste
Preparation

Mix crackers, almonds and 3/4 stick margarine together; set aside.
Saute
onion,
bell pepper and celery in butter or margarine on
top of stove until tender.
Mix together rest of ingredients.
Pour
into
large casserole dish.
Sprinkle with cracker mixture.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 45 minutes.
