Lentil Rice Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dried lentils
    1 c. uncooked rice
    1/3 bottle Italian dressing
    1/2 c. sliced green or black olives
    1/2 c. diced onion
    3/4 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced green or red pepper
    1/2 c. diced carrots
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
Preparation
    Cook lentils and drain.
    Cook rice according to package directions and drain.
    Mix lentils and rice.
    Add all other ingredients and toss.
    Refrigerate overnight or for several hours before serving.
    Serve on a bed of greens or as a side dish.
