Chopped Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. green tomatoes
    2 red sweet peppers
    1 red hot pepper (seeds out)
    1 pt. chopped onions
    1 pt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1/4 c. salt (scant)
    1/2 box mixed spices, in bag
Preparation
    Grind green tomatoes, cover with water, bring to a boil and drain.
    Simmer with remaining ingredients 1/2 hour.
    Put in hot jars; seal.
