Polynesian Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can sliced beets
    1 (16 oz.) can pineapple chunks
    1 or 2 Tbsp. cornstarch*
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    *One tablespoon cornstarch for thickening equals 2 tablespoons flour.
