Funnel Cakes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3 Tbsp.sugar
1 egg
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
powdered sugar for top
Preparation

Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Put batter in funnel and drop in pretzel-like pattern in 2 inches of melted Crisco or cooking oil.
Cook at 375\u00b0 until golden brown, holding finger over bottom of funnel to control amount of batter released.
Turn with large fork and cook on each side. Drain on paper towels.
Sift powdered sugar over immediately.
Can use cinnamon too.
