Breakfast Bible Class Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage
    3 Tbsp. chopped yellow onion
    3 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. hot milk (can use skim)
    salt and pepper to taste
    biscuits
Preparation
    Brown sausage and onion in heated frying pan.
    Drain all grease except approximately 1 tablespoon.
    Add flour and cook 1 to 2 minutes, stirring.
    Add hot milk all at once.
    Stir mixture constantly until it thickens.
    Season with a little salt and lots of pepper.
    Pour over split biscuits.
    Homemade are best but at Bible Class they sometimes use those from a tube.
    Can be made a day before and refrigerated.
    Reheat slowly, adding a little more milk until of desired consistency.
    This should not be too thick, just nice and creamy.
