Tourtere(Meat Pie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground pork
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. water
1 c. mashed potatoes
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Combine all ingredients, except potato.
Cook on low heat for 1 hour; stir often.
Add mashed potatoes.
Mix should be not too wet or dry.
Put in pastry.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes. Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
