Danish Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. chopped dates
    1 Tbsp. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. orange rind
    3 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Take 3/4 flour and mix with dates and nuts.
    Mix with ingredients, bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
