Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 oz. red food coloring
2 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 cup buttermilk OR 1 cup milk+ 1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp soda

Preparation

Cream shortening and eggs.
Add eggs and food coloring.
