Chicken And Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small fryer chicken
    1 large onion, quartered
    3 carrots, cut in 2 -3 inch
    2 - 3 celery stalks, cut in 2-3 inch pieces
    3 cloves garlic, smashed and put in whole
    3 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. rosemary
    1/4 tsp thyme
    1/4 tsp oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    wide egg noodles, approximately. 8-10 oz.
Preparation
    Wash chicken, remove excess fat, put on large pot and cover with water.
    Add al ingredients except noodles, cook until chicken is done.
    Remove chicken and vegetables, retaining liquid.
    (You may wish to dice carrots and return to pot for color.) Reduce heat to warm.
    When chicken cools, remove skin, fat and bones and shred chicken.
