Tamale Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 large garlic cloves, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. chili powder
16 oz. tomato sauce
10 1/2 oz. consomme
1 tall can whole corn
1/2 c. parsley, chopped
1 tall can pitted black olives
mashed corn chips
1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
2 (4 1/2 oz.) cans chopped olives
Preparation

Brown ground beef.
Add the onion, garlic, salt, chili powder, tomato sauce, consomme, corn, parsley and olives; heat to boiling in an iron skillet.
Stir in 7 ounces of corn chips.
Scoop this into a 2-quart greased casserole dish; sprinkle with the Cheddar cheese and chopped olives.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Serves 8.
