Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick butter
    1 c. self-rising flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1 to 1 1/2 c. drained fruit
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt butter and put in deep dish (1 1/2 to 2-quart).
    Mix flour, sugar and 1/2 cup of milk; beat until smooth.
    Add rest of milk.
    Pour batter over butter; don't mix! Place fruit in center of batter.
    Cook 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve warm.
