Potato Ham Scallop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 lb. cheese or 1 can Cheddar cheese soup
    2 c. sliced, cooked potatoes
    1 c. cooked ham, cubed
Preparation
    In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt butter.
    Stir in flour. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk, keeping smooth.
    Cook over moderate low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheese.
    Fold in potatoes and ham. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Turn into ungreased casserole dish. Bake uncovered at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    To cook potatoes, peel and slice potatoes into 1/4-inch slices.
    Boil until tender.
    Drain.
