Icebox Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 c. thick dark molasses
    4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    2 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. raisins
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add molasses, flour, cinnamon, ginger and allspice.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.
    Add alternately with flour to first ingredients.
    Add raisins, chopped nuts and vanilla.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes in greased and floured muffin pan.
    This dough may be kept covered in icebox for several days and cooked as desired, a few muffins at a time.
