Emergency Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. cereal flakes, crushed
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 onion, finely chopped
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Press well the meat mixture out on a cookie sheet.
    Chill 1 hour, then cut in strips (like steak fingers).
    Fix a batter mixture (mix 2 eggs, 1/4 cup milk and season with salt and pepper).
    Dip strips in flour, then in batter mixture, then the flour again.
    Fry the steaks until golden brown.
