Lentils And Pasta - Healthy Style! - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pasta (I use flora brand, ditalini No. 52)
    goya lentils (15.5 oz. can; buy at Publix in Chasewood)
    grated Italian cheese
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) Publix tomato sauce
    1/2 c. wine (preferably Burgundy)
Preparation
    Brown lightly onion and garlic in olive oil.
    Then add wine; cook 2 minutes.
    Add lentils and tomato sauce.
    Simmer 20 minutes. In the meantime, cook pasta in boiling water.
    Drain when done according to package time.
    Add to lentil mixture and let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.
    Serve with grated cheese and tossed salad.
