Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. yellow corn meal
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
3 green onions, chopped
1 (8.5 oz.) can cream-style corn
2 eggs, beaten
4 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2 Tbsp. bacon drippings
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 c. sour cream
Preparation

Mix all ingredients in order given; beat well.
Pour into buttered 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown and a wooden pick inserted comes out clean.
Yields approximately 9 servings.
