Grilled Marinated Flank Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dry red wine
    2 tsp. sherry
    3 cloves crushed garlic
    dash of ground black pepper
    dash of ground ginger
    1/8 tsp. crushed oregano
    1/8 tsp. marjoram, crumbled
    1 1/2 lb. thick flank steak
Preparation
    Combine wine, sherry, garlic and seasonings together.
    Make very thin slashes diagonally across the grain of the steak.
    Put steak in a long glass baking dish and pour marinade over the steak.
    Cover and chill for 12 to 18 hours.
    Turn steak over once during this time.
    Preheat grill (gas) or prepare charcoal.
    Grill meat 5 minutes on each side.
    Makes 8 (3 ounce) servings.
