Turkey Sausage Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. turkey sausage (sweet)
1 to 2 Tbsp. margarine or 1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 red pepper, sliced
8 carrots, sliced
1/4 to 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
3 to 4 Tbsp. cooking sherry
rice, cooked and hot
1 c. water
Preparation

Heat the margarine or oil in a skillet; brown the sausages. Add the carrots and 1 cup water; cover and simmer until the carrots are not quite tender.
Add the red pepper and mushrooms and sherry.
Cover and cook a few more minutes until the vegetables are tender but not mushy.
(Meanwhile, cook the rice, the amount you'll need for the number of people you plan to serve.)
Put the rice on a platter or shallow bowl and pour the sausage/vegetable mixture over it.
