Ice Cream Cake 1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. Oreos, crushed
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 gal. softened vanilla ice cream
    1 (12 to 14 oz.) jar chocolate fudge topping
    1 (12 oz.) container Cool Whip, defrosted
Preparation
    Take ice cream out and let soften.
    Mix crushed Oreos with melted butter.
    Press into the bottom of a 12-inch round plastic container (like Tupperware pie-taker with lid).
    Spread ice cream over cookies.
    Pour fudge evenly over ice cream.
    Spread Cool Whip over fudge.
    Garnish with more crushed Oreos, if desired, or freeze and decorate as for a birthday.
    Re-freeze for 24 hours, but remove to allow softening before cutting.
