Sugar Sour Cream Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1/8 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. nut halves
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

In a heavy saucepan, mix sugar, sour cream and salt.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly to 236\u00b0.
Beat until mixture begins to thicken and loses its gloss.
Add nuts and stir quickly to coat all sides.
Turn out onto greased cookie sheet and separate nuts with 2 forks.
