Melt-Away Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. oleo
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. plain flour
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 egg white
    1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Beat
    sugar and oleo until fluffy.
    Add egg yolk, vanilla, flour
    and pecans.
    Beat.
    Spread in greased pan.
    Beat egg white until
    frothy.
    Spread over batter.
    Sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups pecans.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 until firm.
    Great for luncheons.
