Filling For Fried Peach Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. peaches
    6 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Wash, halve and seed peaches (don't peel).
    Mix together ingredients and let set overnight.
    Cook to consistency of peach preserves.
    Can as you would preserves.
    Use overripe peaches. They are better and cheaper.
