Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (16 oz.) can pie filling (cherry, apple, etc.)
    1 pkg. gold/yellow cake mix
    1 stick butter or margarine
Preparation
    Spread pineapple over the bottom of an 11 x 9 x 1-inch pan. Cover pineapple with fruit pie filling.
    Cover completely with cake mix.
    Slice butter in 1/4-inch slices and cover all over cake mix. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes until golden brown.
