Sea Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; cut in shortening with fork until resembles coarse cornmeal.
    Add milk working in only enough to combine ingredients.
    Turn out on floured board; knead until smooth.
    Pat or roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
    Bake in 450\u00b0 preheated oven 12 to 15 minutes.
    Makes 16 to 18 biscuits.
