Peanut Butter Blossoms - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. shortening (butter flavored Crisco)
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
Hershey Kisses

Preparation

Cream peanut butter and shortening together.
Add sugar gradually, continuing until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add beaten egg.
Sift flour and soda together; add.
Mix well.
Roll in balls and then roll the balls in sugar and put on cookie sheet. Put kisses on cookies when removed from oven.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
