Cherries In The Snow - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. whipping cream or 1 (16 oz.) Cool Whip
    2 c. tiny white marshmallows
    1 c. chilled cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Beat together with an electric mixer the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla.
    When fluffy, fold in Cool Whip and marshmallows. Chill for several hours.
    Serve in long-stemmed or sherbet glasses or in a large crystal bowl.
    Top each serving with the cherry pie filling.
