Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. molasses
    2 c. plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 egg
Preparation
    Cream all ingredients until smooth.
    Make little balls by rolling in hands.
    Place on lightly greased pan.
    Dip fingers in cold water and flatten each snap.
    Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350\u00b0.
