My Mother'S Chili Beans - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. pinto beans
1 lb. bacon, chopped and fried
1 large onion, chopped
chili powder to taste
1 clove garlic (optional)
salt and pepper
Preparation

Cream together one full quart of love; add one heaping cup laughter.
Sift together 1 pound of patience and 1 tablespoon of tolerance.
Add dash of courage, a handful of appreciation and a sprinkle of praise.
Combine with the first mixture alternately with a gallon of understanding.
Stir well and simmer for several prayer hours, or until done to taste.
