Scalloped Cheese Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Pepperidge stuffing
    3 1/2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    2 tsp. Lawry's salt
    2 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. thinly sliced onion
    1/2 tsp. oregano
Preparation
    Place
    layer
    of
    stuffing
    in
    buttered shallow baking dish. To the tomatoes add
    butter, drippings, salt and sugar. Cover stuffing with tomato, then
    layer of cheese, then onion. Repeat ending with cheese on
    top.
    Sprinkle
    with oregano and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
