"Frozen" Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. cucumbers, sliced with peel left on
    1 c. diced celery
    1 c. diced green peppers
    1 c. diced onion
    2 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Combine cucumbers, celery, peppers and onion.
    Sprinkle over with salt and let stand 3 hours. Drain dry.
    Combine remaining ingredients. When the sugar is dissolved in the cold vinegar, add drained-dry vegetables and spoon into containers.
    These will keep 6 months in refrigerator and indefinitely in the freezer.
