Spicy Sausage & Cheese Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 bags boil in bag rice
    1 lb. bulk sausage (chicken, beef, or pork)
    1 onion, chopped
    1 can tomatoes and green chilies
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Preparation
    Prepare rice according to package directions.
    In a skillet cook and crumble sausage.
    Add onion; cook until tender, drain. Stir in tomatoes and green chilies and chili powder.
    Add rice and stir in cheese.
