Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. lukewarm water
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients; cut in shortening. Stir in yeast and buttermilk. Put in refrigerator and let rise 1 hour. Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter. Let rise 1 hour. Bake in oven at 450\u00b0 until brown. Makes 40 biscuits.
