Pineapple Loaf Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, separated
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2/3 c. undrained crushed pineapple
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream butter until light and fluffy.
    Gradually add sugar and beat well.
    Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
    Add pineapple and sifted dry ingredients.
    Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites into batter.
    Pour
    into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan lined with wax paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes.
    Cool and frost.
