Punczki (Raised Donuts) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 to 9 c. sifted flour
1/2 lb. butter
5 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
yeast cakes (2 oz.)
2 c. milk (lukewarm)
Preparation

Mix the yeast with 1/2 cup warm water.
Put the beaten eggs, lukewarm milk and yeast together, then beat the flour mixture a little at a time, then add the rest of the flour.
Let raise. When raised, take a little dough, pat out and cut with glass.
Let raise and deep fry three minutes on each side in Crisco.
