Carrots Plus - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. bag carrots, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
2 medium onions cut into thin strips
2 medium apples, pared and thinly sliced
1 tsp. lemon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper
Preparation

Steam carrots.
In a 10-inch skillet, melt butter.
Add onions and cook over moderate heat.
Cover until they are transparent, about 10 minutes.
Add apple slices and cover.
Continue to cook, just until tender, but still hold their shape, about 5 minutes, depends on variety of apples used.
Drain carrots and add carrots to skillet; stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper; reheat.
Yields 6 servings.
