Blackberry Dooby - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. frozen blackberries
    1 can refrigerated biscuits
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 c. sugar (add more to taste)
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Bring blackberries to boil in 2 cups of water; let boil about 10 minutes.
    Strain blackberries in colander to strain seeds. Combine blackberries and all ingredients, except biscuits, in pot. Cook on medium heat until boiling; let boil 10 minutes.
    Pinch off biscuits and drop into mixture to make dumplings (use at least 4 biscuits).
    Cook additional 10 minutes.
    Serves 6.
