Vanilla Nut Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding powder (not instant)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Pet evaporated milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. cut up nuts
Preparation
    Mix in a heavy 1 1/2-quart saucepan until smooth.
    Cook and stir to a full all-over boil.
    Lower heat and keep stirring while mixture boils slowly 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat; beat until candy is thick and loses its shine.
    Spread in a buttered 9 x 5-inch pan.
    Let stand until firm.
    Cut into squares.
    Makes 21 pieces.
