Ingredients

1 c. lukewarm milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. yeast
1 egg
1/4 c. shortening
2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix together the milk, sugar and salt.
Crumble yeast into mixture along with the egg and shortening.
Mix in with spoon, then knead in 2 1/2 cups flour.
Let rise.
