Corn Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 1/4-inch pieces
    1 onion, sliced
    6 medium raw potatoes, cut in cubes (small)
    2 cans creamed corn
    1 qt. milk
Preparation
    Fry bacon; remove pieces and drain on paper towel.
    Add onion and potatoes to drippings; cover and simmer until done.
    Change to larger pot.
    Start with milk and warm, then add corn and also onion and potatoes.
    Season with salt and pepper and butter.
