Hot Mulled Or Spiced Wine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 sticks cinnamon
1/2 lemon, sliced
24 cloves
4 c. hot fruit juice (lemon, orange, apple or pineapple)
1 qt. red wine
Preparation
-
Boil for 5 minutes a syrup of sugar, water, cinnamon, lemon and cloves.
Strain syrup and add fruit juice.
Heat red wine but do not boil.
Combine syrup and wine and keep hot in top of double boiler.
