Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat.
    Sift in cocoa and flour; mix well, then add nuts.
    Bake in one 9-inch round, greased and floured pan for 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Beware! Don't overcook.
    Best when still chewy in the middle.
    Makes 15 squares.
    Serves a few; they are so good.
