Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 c. sugar
2 c. milk
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
dash of salt
1 c. coconut plus 1/4 c.
Preparation

Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks and salt in saucepan.
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Thicken with cornstarch mixed with 3 tablespoons water.
Cook and stir until smooth.
Remove from heat. Stir in coconut and pour into pie shell.
Top with meringue.
