Maple Pecan Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 1/2 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. maple syrup
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/2 t. baking soda
    1/3 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 t. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1 T. sugar
    1/8 t. cinnamon
Preparation
    Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Beat egg and stir together the syrup, milk, baking soda, melted butter and vanilla. Add to flour mixture. Stir until moistened. Stir in pecans. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over muffins. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15-20 minutes.
