Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 oz. Cool Whip
    3 1/2 oz. pistachio pudding
    8 1/2 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
    4 oz. nuts (pecans)
    1 c. marshmallows (miniature)
    1 lb. 1 oz. can fruit cocktail, drained
    cottage cheese (optional)
Preparation
    Combine Cool Whip and pudding.
    Mix, then add remaining ingredients and stir.
    Pour into bowl; refrigerate.
