Scalloped Ham And Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. shredded cabbage
2 c. diced, cooked ham
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. flour
2 c. milk
2 c. shredded Cheddar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. melted butter
Preparation

Cook cabbage in boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes.
Drain. Saute ham and onion in butter in skillet.
Stir in flour.
Add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
Add 3/4 cup cheese, celery seed and salt.
Place layers of cabbage alternately with layers of ham mixture in a 2-quart casserole.
Combine bread crumbs, butter and remaining cheese.
Sprinkle over top and bake at 350\u00b0 until top is golden brown.
