Cherry Marshmallow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    3 cups Swans Down cake flour, sifted
    3 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    4 eggs
    1 cup milk
    1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    Preheat oven 320 degrees.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients, and add to butter mixture.
    Add milk and flavoring, mix well; and pour into 3 to 4 greased 9 inch cake pans.
    Bake at 320 degrees until done.
    Cool and ice with Cherry Marshmallow Icing.
