Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. margarine
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. raisins
1 c. water

Preparation

Cook raisins in water; let cool.
Cream the sugar and shortening.
Add rest of ingredients.
Drop from spoon; bake in moderate oven (soft cookie).
