Georgia Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
dash of salt
6 c. peeled apples, sliced thinly
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
approximately 6 c. peeled apples
Preparation

Slice and cook for a few minutes, then combine other ingredients.
After preparing pastry, preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Mix flour, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt.
Stir into apples.
Turn into 9-inch pastry lined plate.
Dot with butter or margarine. Cover with top crust that has slits.
Fold upper over lower crust. Seal edge.
Bake until crust is browned and filling bubbles through slits, about 40 minutes.
